HOUSTON, TEXAS, Aug 24, 2020 — Houston Baptist University (HBU) is committed to building the character and intellect of their students.  As programs continue to grow at HBU’s School of Nursing and Allied Health, to help continue the growth of the Nursing program at HBU based on a track record of stellar leadership.

Dr. Reveles’ dedication to the growth of the HBU Nursing programs, most notably, the MSN – Family Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner programs, combined with her continued leadership in the Nursing profession, will help continue to position HBU as a premier institution for Nursing students.

HBU Nursing Programs Benefit from Dr. Reveles’ Experience

Dr. Reveles is certified as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a high-risk neonatal nurse.  She has over 15 years of experience in academic appointments and over 35 years in the nursing profession.  Reveles is a member of several nursing organizations and was recognized by TNA District 9 as an Outstanding Nurse in 2015. Dr. Reveles is actively involved with Texas Nurse Practitioners and facilitated Houston Baptist University’s participation in TNP’s University Ambassadors Program, from its conception.

Dr. Renae Schumann, Dean, Nursing and Allied Health at HBU, couldn’t be more supportive of the change.
